Patricia Ventura holds an Honours Degree in English Studies and a Master’s Degree in ICT for Teaching and Processing Languages from UNED. She is a teacher and a virtual tutor at CUID (the University Centre for Distance Language Education at UNED). She is currently doing her Ph.D. thesis on social media integration in the context of on-line and mobile professional English MOOCs and she is part of the teaching staff and curator of a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) on Professional English. Her research interests are social media-assisted language learning, MALL and MOOCs.
